The Society publishes a quarterly journal, Rhode Island Roots, which features the stories of Rhode Island ancestors, case studies of genealogical research, transcriptions of Rhode Island record sets, diaries, and bible records, and material useful for tracing occupations, military service, and institutional records.
Our members automatically receive new issues of Rhode Island Roots each quarter, but if you are a RIGS member, you can sign on to the website and access electronic current and back issues to read and download.
